Sten was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1944, and comes from a family of writers.
After graduating with a degree in Economics and Statistics at Stockholm University, Sten Nordland started his professional career in the late 1960's as a chief accountant in the credit card business. Finding life behind a desk not being fast enough, he set off alone to travel the world seeking out new business ventures.
With a sense of adventure, his travels took him to Australia, USA and Germany, as well as to the Canary Islands. While on the Spanish islands he worked as a radio program manager and disc jockey. He also became a restaurateur, running a restaurant complete with gaming tables and dancing.

Sten Nordland always looks for the opportunity to mix business with his appetite for adventure.
Here we meet him at the Hilton Hotel in Teheran, during the 'Shah' era.
Sten Nordland resided on the Spanish Costa Blanca and passed away in January 2018
